Security & Risk Management Services

The duties and responsibilities are to:

  • Ensure the implementation and maintaining of physical security programs and plans of the Regional Councils premises.
  • Make recommendations to improve physical security maintenance of the Regional Councils.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implementation of appropriate security measures to mitigate specific threats, incidences and security breaches.
  • Monitor, direct and supervise physical and personnel security capacity (Security Guards).
  • Oversee and manage the performance of Senior Security Operations Officer and Security Operations Officers.
  • Provide expert advice, guidance and support to Managers, Supervisors and general staff members.
  • Investigate the contravention of security directives/breach and advice the Chief Regional Officer.
  • Carry out any other duties assigned from time to time.
